Whether lining makes sense here depends on the age of your section of the island and what sits above the pipe.
Where it can genuinely help
In the older parts of Seabrook, lines have had decades for roots to find joints and for ground to settle. Those run under mature planting, walkways and shared parking areas where digging is genuinely disruptive — particularly in a villa setting where the trench would sit across communal ground. Lining works through existing access points instead.
Where you probably do not need it
Newer parts of the island have modern pipe that is nowhere near failing. If lining has been proposed there, ask to see the footage — a blockage is far more likely sand or something that went down a drain.
Shared lines involve the regime
Work on a line serving several homes is a regime matter rather than an individual one. We deal with management companies directly and provide the footage that supports whatever gets decided.
When it cannot be done
A collapsed line, or one that has lost its fall along its length, cannot be lined. Better you hear that after we look than partway through.
