We will be straight with you: almost no home on Kiawah needs this.
Your pipe is too new
Lining exists to rescue old clay and cast iron sewer lines that have cracked or taken roots at the joints. Kiawah was developed comparatively recently, so laterals here are modern PVC with sealed joints and are decades away from that kind of failure.
If it has been recommended to you
Ask to see the camera footage and ask exactly what was found. On a house this age a drainage problem is nearly always a blockage or a single settled section — both far smaller jobs than relining.
What is usually worth doing instead
A camera inspection, then the smallest repair that solves the problem. That may be jetting, or repairing one section that has sagged. Neither is expensive, and neither disturbs your garden.
Where it would genuinely apply
Only where a line has been damaged by ground movement or excavation, and even then a spot repair is usually the answer. We would rather turn work down than sell you something your house does not need.
