When something goes wrong at home, you want to know how quickly someone can get to you and what it will cost. Here is both, plainly.
What it costs
You get the price before we start rather than after. There is no separate charge added quietly for the time of day, and nobody will push you to agree to a bigger job while there is water on your floor. If it can safely wait until morning and cost less, we will tell you that.
Getting to you when roads flood
Anyone who works on James Island knows which junctions go under at high tide, and it is worth mentioning when you call if your road is affected. It helps us plan the route rather than turning back.
Find your shut-off before you need it
In the older neighborhoods it is usually a meter box near the street, and it often needs a meter key. In newer homes it is more likely in the garage or near the water heater. Ten minutes finding yours on a quiet afternoon can save your floors.
We come out at any hour for
- Burst or leaking pipes
- Sewage backing up into tubs and floor drains
- Water heaters leaking or failing
- Main line breaks between meter and house
- Gas smells, which we treat as immediate
- No water, or no hot water
