Whether lining is right for you here depends entirely on the age of the property.
Older island properties
Where an original line has cracked joints letting in groundwater and sand, lining creates a new sealed pipe inside the old one. That fixes the silting problem as well as the leaking, and it works through existing access points rather than digging up a compact island lot where there is nowhere sensible to put a trench.
Wild Dunes and newer homes
Much of the island’s housing is considerably newer, with modern sewer pipe that is nowhere near failing. If lining has been proposed for a property built in the last few decades, ask to see the camera footage — a blockage there is far more likely sand or something that went down the drain.
Villas and shared lines
In multi-unit buildings, work on a shared line involves the association rather than a single owner. We are happy to deal with management companies directly and provide the footage that supports whatever is decided.
When it cannot be done
A collapsed line, or one that has lost its fall and holds water throughout, cannot be lined. Better you hear that after we look than partway through.
