Jetting suits island drains because the problem is usually a coated or silted pipe rather than one obstruction.
Sand needs flushing out
Sand settles along the bottom of a line and stays there. A cable makes a channel through it and the rest remains, which is why a cabled drain here often slows again within weeks. Jetting removes it.
Shared stacks in Wild Dunes
Where several units feed one stack, grease and residue accumulate from everybody. Scheduled jetting of the stack is far cheaper for an association than repeated emergency call-outs to individual units, and it is much less disruptive to residents and guests.
Best done between seasons
For rental properties, jetting in the off season means the line starts the summer clear rather than being dealt with mid-booking.
When we will say no
Older pipe that has already thinned may not take the pressure, which is why we look with a camera first. On a fragile line we will recommend lining instead of risking a break.
