When something lets go at home, you want to know how quickly someone can get to you and what it will cost. Here is both, plainly.
What it costs
You get the price before we start rather than after. Nothing extra is added quietly for the time of day, and nobody will push you into a bigger job while there is water on the floor. If it can safely wait until morning and cost less, we will say so.
Older homes give less warning
Galvanised pipe in the older Hanahan streets tends to corrode quietly for years and then fail properly rather than starting as a small drip. That is worth knowing, because it means the first sign is often water rather than a warning.
Find your shut-off now
In the older homes it is usually a meter box near the street and often needs a meter key. In Tanner Plantation and the newer neighbourhoods it is more likely in the garage or near the water heater. Ten minutes finding it on a quiet afternoon is worth a great deal later.
We come out at any hour for
- Burst or leaking pipes
- Water heaters leaking or failing
- Sewage backing up into tubs and floor drains
- Main line breaks between meter and house
- Gas smells, which we treat as immediate
- No water, or no hot water
