Repiping & Water Line Repair in Goose Creek, SC

Swift Help. Friendly Faces. Real Solutions in Goose Creek, SC

If your home was built between the late seventies and the mid nineties, there is a particular kind of pipe worth knowing about — and a lot of Goose Creek falls in exactly that window.

Polybutylene pipe

Grey plastic pipe, usually with metal or plastic crimped fittings, was widely used in homes built between about 1978 and 1995. Much of Crowfield Plantation and the neighbourhoods that went up alongside it are from that era. Polybutylene becomes brittle over time and tends to fail at the fittings, often without much warning. If you have grey pipe coming into your water heater or under your sinks, it is worth having someone confirm what you have.

How to tell what you have

Copper is obvious. Modern PEX is usually red, blue or white and flexible. Polybutylene is grey and slightly dull. We are happy to take a look and tell you honestly — plenty of homes here were repiped years ago and the owners simply do not know either way.

Repiping is less disruptive than expected

New pipe runs through existing wall cavities, closets and the attic, so we open a handful of targeted access points rather than every wall. We can also work through it in stages if that suits your budget.

The line from the street

If pressure is low everywhere rather than at one tap, the service line may be the issue. That can be replaced by boring underground, leaving your lawn and drive as they are.

Water Line Services

Water Line Leak Detection

Using advanced acoustical leak detection equipment, we locate hidden leaks under slabs, in yards, or within walls—without unnecessary digging.

Water Line Repair

We repair broken or cracked water lines caused by root intrusion, corrosion, shifting soil, or age. Our goal is to preserve as much of your property as possible.

Full Water Line Replacement

If your line is beyond repair or made from outdated material (like galvanized steel), we offer full replacements using modern, long-lasting pipe—installed with minimal disruption using directional boring and trenchless methods where possible.

Should you Repair or Replace a Water Line?

We’ll walk you through your options. In many cases, a localized repair solves the problem. But if your line is severely damaged, outdated, or causing recurring issues, replacement may save money long-term. We’ll provide clear pricing and honest recommendations—no pressure, just solutions.
