Jetting is the right tool for island drains, because the thing clogging them is usually sand rather than a single obstruction.
Sand needs washing out, not poking
Sand is heavy and settles along the bottom of a pipe. A cable pushes a channel through it and the rest stays exactly where it was, which is why a cabled drain here often slows again within weeks. Jetting flushes it out of the line properly.
Rentals benefit from a schedule
A property taking guests all summer accumulates sand, grease and everything else at pace. Jetting between seasons costs considerably less than an emergency call-out with a full house, and it is far better for your reviews.
Outdoor shower lines
These take the most sand of anything on the property and are almost always overlooked until they stop draining. Worth including whenever anything else is being done.
When we will say no
Older cottages with original pipe that has thinned may not stand the pressure. That is why we look with a camera first, and on a fragile line we will recommend lining instead.
